This policy explains what pslnk (“we,” “us”) collects on pslnk.com, what we deliberately don’t, and the choices you have. The short version: the quiz collects nothing about you; we only store contact details if you choose to submit them, and we keep a record of exactly what you agreed to when you do.
The quiz runs in your browser
Your quiz answers are processed entirely inside your own browser and disappear when you close or reload the page. They are not transmitted to us or anyone else while you take the quiz.
What we don’t do
- No advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or social-media pixels; no cookies.
- We do not sell or share personal information (as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act), and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Anonymous usage counts
We count page views and quiz starts and completions as anonymous daily totals — no IP addresses, no identifiers, just “this page was viewed N times today” — kept for a limited period (currently about 120 days). Browsers sending “Do Not Track” are not counted. The site may place one small browser-storage entry so returning visitors see a consistent version of the questionnaire (it identifies a page version, not you), and, while you browse, a note of the pages you visit here may be kept in your browser’s own per-tab storage — that note is not transmitted to us or anyone, and your browser erases it when you close the tab. You can clear either at any time with your site data.
If you ask us to email your results
After your matches appear, you may optionally ask to receive them by email. Only if you submit that form, we store: the email address (and phone number, if you add one); the results and quiz selections shown with your request; a step-by-step log of your activity on this site from that visit — the pages you visited and links you clicked here during the tab session, and the quiz steps, options and careers you looked at — which until that moment existed only in your own browser; and a consent record — what you agreed to, the date and time, the exact wording shown to you and its version, the page you submitted from, and your IP address and browser type, kept solely as evidence of your consent. Submitting requests one email with your own results and permits contact about that request; it does not subscribe you to anything.
Email accuracy checks
To keep mistyped and disposable addresses out of our records, submitted email addresses may be checked for deliverability through a verification service acting on our behalf. It receives the address only — nothing else — and may use it solely to perform the check.
Marketing email and texts (only if you opt in)
Separate, never pre-ticked checkboxes let you opt into occasional career emails and/or text messages. Your results arrive either way.
- Email: withdraw any time via the unsubscribe method in any message or by writing to info@pslnk.com.
- Texts: opting in means recurring automated promotional texts to the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase; message and data rates may apply; frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Job postings
Where current openings appear, our server retrieves them from third-party job-search services using our own accounts. Those queries contain a career title and a general location — never your contact details or any identifier — and your browser communicates only with this site. Applying happens on third-party sites with their own privacy practices.
Service providers and server logs
Personal information is disclosed only to service providers acting for us (hosting, email delivery, address verification, and text delivery if you opted in), each limited to providing their service, and where the law requires. Like nearly every website, our hosting keeps routine technical request logs for security; they are not used to identify visitors.
Retention
Quiz answers: never stored. Anonymous counts: about 120 days. Contact and consent records: until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them; consent records may be kept as long as needed to demonstrate the consent existed.
Your rights
You can use the entire quiz without providing anything, dismiss the results-email card (it never gates your results), and unsubscribe from email or texts at any time. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.
California residents: you have the rights to know, access, correct and delete personal information; to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share, so there is nothing to opt out of); to limit use of sensitive personal information (we collect none); and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Email info@pslnk.com from the address you used and tell us what you’d like; we verify requests by corresponding with that address, accept authorized agents with confirmation from you, and respond within the timeframes the law sets. We do not knowingly sell or share information of anyone under 16.
Children
This is a general-audience site not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information; contact us and we will delete any such record.
